7DS (New Zealand Paintball Team)
7DS, also written as 7 D.S and identified as Seven Deadly Sins, was a New Zealand tournament paintball team that competed in the Division 2 category of the 2007 Super 5s championship in Auckland.[1]
The team participated in all six documented rounds between February and August 2007, finishing third in the Division 2 championship standings with 1,877 points.[1]
History
2007 Super 5s
7DS competed in Division 2 of the 2007 Super 5s, a series of five-player paintball tournaments held in the Auckland region.
The team's earliest identified appearance was at Round 1 on 25 February 2007, where it finished third with 433 tournament points.[1]
At Round 2 on 25 March, 7DS finished sixth with 277 points. The team subsequently placed eighth at Round 3 on 22 April, scoring 359 points. Both events were held at A Paintball Adventure, 80B Hunua Road, Papakura.[1]
The team continued competing through the winter rounds, finishing ninth on 24 June and again on 22 July.
At Round 6 on 26 August, 7DS finished seventh with 284 points.[1]
Championship standings
Following Round 6, 7DS occupied third place in the Division 2 championship standings with 1,877 points, behind Sinista and Nemisis.[1]
The team had competed in every documented round and maintained a position among the leading teams in the overall standings despite variable individual event results.
A seventh round was scheduled for 23 September 2007, but its results have not been recovered. Consequently, the team's final championship placing has not been established.
