2020 ECPL Round 1

2020 ECPL Round 1 was the opening tournament of the East Coast Paintball League, held on 23 February 2020 at Bay of Plenty Paintball Club's field at TECT All Terrain Park, New Zealand. Surge won the event.[1][2]

Competition

The newly established league aimed to provide an affordable introduction to competitive paintball, with experienced players mentoring newer participants. Both established and developing teams attended the opening tournament.[2]

The league published its opening-round results on 24 February 2020, congratulating Surge on first place and thanking the players and volunteers who had attended the preceding day.[1]

Championship points

The league's published table, headed Champions Division 2020, records the following points after round one. These figures are championship points rather than individual match scores.[1]

Team	Round-one points
Surge	100
The Ponies	94
Ballistics Unit 1	88
Ballistics Unit 2	84
