2005 Super 5s
2005 Super 5s was a season of the Super 5s five-player paintball tournament series in Auckland, New Zealand. Contemporary forum discussions document competition at Kumeu Showgrounds in May and A Paintball Adventure in Papakura in September. Saints won the fourth round by two points.[1][2]
Season

[edit]Round four took place on 22 May 2005 at Kumeu Showgrounds. The announcement invited teams and spectators, with play expected to begin at approximately 9 am.[1]
Same-day participant reports described wet and muddy conditions and congratulated Saints on winning. A reply recorded a two-point winning margin, although the discussion did not provide the runner-up, numerical totals or a complete finishing order.[1]
The next round was announced for 26 June.[1]
August and September
[edit]The September announcement referred to games played during the preceding month, documenting an August round without supplying its date or results.[2]
The September round took place on 18 September at A Paintball Adventure, 80B Hunua Road, Papakura. Messages posted on the evening of the event and the following day confirmed that play had taken place. The surviving discussion contains no scores or final placings.[2]
October plans
[edit]An organiser's reply stated that the October round had been booked for 9 October, allowing a two-week interval before the proposed Rotorua Labour Weekend event. The reply also noted uncertainty over the Labour Weekend arrangements.[2]
