History
Early records
Mischief Militia appeared on the NZPPL's registration list for its third event of 2012, advertised for 20–21 October on the Kāpiti Coast.[4]
The original registration establishes that an entry existed under the team's name, but does not independently confirm its attendance or final result.
The NZPPL's 2013 rankings also contain an entry named Mischief, which finished thirteenth at the second Super 5 Man event and sixteenth in the combined standings after two rounds.[5]
The available records do not establish whether this shortened name refers to Mischief Militia.

Historical records
Mischief Militia's PBLeagues registration is dated 16 January 2014 and identifies Auckland as the team's hometown.[1]
The earlier NZPPL registration list documents the Mischief Militia name in 2012, so the database registration date should not be interpreted as a confirmed founding date.
The team's precise founding date, complete historical rosters and final period of competitive activity have not been established.
