2005 Nelson Three-Man Tournament
2005 Nelson Three-Man Tournament was a three-player paintball tournament held in July 2005 at the Nelson A&P Showgrounds in Nelson, New Zealand. The competition attracted eight teams, including entrants from Wellington, Christchurch and the Nelson region.[1]
Addicted of Wellington won the tournament, followed by Fallen Red and Bleeding Welts, both from Christchurch.[1]
History
Organisation
The tournament was advertised through the NZ Paintball Message Boards during May and June 2005, with discussions covering preparations and playing-field arrangements.[2]
A post-event report published on 18 July 2005 identified the Nelson A&P Showgrounds as the venue and described the competition as an opportunity to develop tournament paintball in the upper South Island.[1]
The report acknowledged the Black Ops Factory team for refereeing more than 80 games and assisting with the event.
Individuals thanked for their assistance included Ben Huggins and Tony Eggers.
The report also acknowledged support from Portside Bar & Restaurant, TAG Paintball Supplies, 97.0 ZM, NPA and Build Nelson Ltd.[1]
The precise tournament dates and complete match schedule have not been established.

The results identify Addicted as the overall winner and preserve the final positions of all eight competing teams.
