The 2001 National Three-Man Centre Flag Competition was a three-player paintball tournament held over two days in Invercargill, New Zealand. Flashpoint defeated Damage Inc 49–4 in the final, successfully defending its title from 2000.[1]

Competition

Four teams competed: Flashpoint, Damage Inc, Fear Factory and TeamX. TeamX was Damage Inc's second team.[1]

Each team played the other three teams on both days. Saturday's matches took place on the Hill Field, while Sunday's matches and the final used the Moat Field. The competition used a centre flag.[1]

Preliminary results

The report published separate totals for each day's preliminary matches.[1]

Team Saturday: Hill Field Sunday: Moat Field
Flashpoint 111 144
Damage Inc 56 119
Fear Factory 56 41
TeamX 27 −14

The Sunday column records points earned that day, rather than cumulative scores for the tournament.[1]

Final

Flashpoint and Damage Inc advanced to the final on the Moat Field. Flashpoint hung the flag from both ends and won 49–4.[1]
