The 1995 New Zealand Paintball Nationals was a seven-player paintball tournament held on 21–22 October 1995 at Tactics, Bethells Beach, Auckland, New Zealand. Six teams competed, with Saints winning ahead of X-Men and Katipo, recorded as Katapo in the contemporary report.[1]

Competition

[edit]

The tournament took place over Labour Weekend. Each team played every opponent twice, once from each end of the field. The playing area measured approximately 100 by 50 metres and combined open ground, tall grass and bushes.[1]

Dragons Claw entered two teams, Hell Patrol and Sentinels. The other entrants were Saints, X-Men, Katapo and Whangarei Paint Contractors.[1]

Saints won nine of their ten games. Katapo recorded a 45–41 victory over them.[1]
