2011 NZPPL Super 5 Man Event 1
2011 NZPPL Super 5 Man Event 1 was the opening round of the 2011 New Zealand Paintball Players League (NZPPL) tournament series in New Zealand. The five-player competition was advertised for 23–24 April 2011 at Tatum Park, Manakau, in the Horowhenua district, near Levin.[1]
A contemporary newspaper report published in June 2011 confirmed that the NZPPL's first tournament of the season had taken place in the Levin area during April.[2]
Organisation
The NZPPL promoted the event as its opening Super 5 Man tournament for 2011.
The official announcement identified the venue as:

The competition was scheduled for Easter weekend, with tournament play planned for Saturday, 23 April, and Sunday, 24 April.[1]

2011 NZPPL series
The event formed part of a three-round national tournament programme.
In June 2011, the Rotorua Daily Post reported that the first event had been held in Levin during April, followed by a second tournament at Lakes Ranch near Rotorua.[2]
The newspaper identified the final round as a Labour Weekend tournament scheduled for Waikanae.
