Alex Irvine
Alex Irvine is a New Zealand paintball player documented as a member of Team Apocalypse in a contemporary New Zealand Paintball profile preserved in February 1998. The profile describes his playing position as “Rainmaker” and forward.[1]
Playing career
[edit]Irvine reported beginning paintball in 1996 after hearing about the sport through friends.[1]
His profile records participation in Division Two tournament paintball. When asked about his greatest paintball achievement, he recalled eliminating four opponents on two occasions during a Division Two tournament. The account does not identify the event or its date.[1]
Equipment and views
[edit]Irvine identified the Spyder as his preferred marker at the time of the interview, praising its reliability, light weight and manoeuvrability.[1]
He advocated greater publicity for paintball to encourage new teams and provide more opponents for teams travelling between fields.[1]
