Editing Detachment (New Zealand Paintball Team)

Detachment is an Auckland, New Zealand, competitive paintball team documented in the South Auckland Paintball Club (SAPC) Race Series from February 2014 to August 2015.[1] The team won the 2015 Mechanical Pump – Division 4 season after winning two of the four rounds.[7][9][10]

Tournament history
PBLeagues records Detachment as an Auckland team registered in its database on 1 February 2014.[1] This is a database registration date rather than a confirmed founding date.

Detachment's first documented tournament appearance was at 2014 SAPC Race Series Event 1 on 8–9 February 2014, where it finished third in Mechanical Pump – Beginner.[2] The team subsequently moved into Mechanical Pump – Division 4, placing fourth at Event 2 and third at Event 4.[3][4] The 2014 season table ranks Detachment fourth in Division 4 with 50 points from those two rounds; the earlier Beginner result was recorded separately.[5]

In 2015, Detachment contested all four SAPC Mechanical Pump – Division 4 rounds. It placed second at Event 1, won Event 2, placed third at Event 3 and won Event 4.[6][7][8][9] These results gave Detachment the 2015 Division 4 season championship with 317.5 points, ahead of Kaos Theory on 310 points.[10]
