2004 Rotorua Paintball Tournament was held at Rotorua International Stadium over the Saturday and Sunday of Labour weekend in October 2004. Organised by Brendon Charles and Peter Mumby, it attracted 23 teams competing on two airball fields. Sydney SWAT won the Cup, while Flashpoint won the Plate.[1] == Format == Teams competed in pools before progressing into separate Cup and Plate competitions. Wind affected the first day, while rain and thunderstorms interrupted Sunday's conditions.[1] == Results == === Cup === Smash and Grab defeated Raiderz in one semi-final, while Sydney SWAT defeated Menace in the other.[1] Sydney SWAT and Smash and Grab each won one game in the best-of-three final. SWAT won the deciding game without losing a player, securing the title by two games to one.[1] {| class="wikitable" ! Position !!
