Sixteen teams from California, Nevada, Washington and Canada entered the five-man tournament. Players were limited to 100 paintballs each per game, with a centre-flag objective and a ten-minute time limit.[2]

Teams initially played in two divisions, followed by competition between the divisions. The leading four teams after two days advanced to the final round.[2]

Viper Venom led the preliminary standings with 898 points, followed by Technicolor Assassins with 804, Eat 'Em Alive with 766 and Viper Poison with 757.[2]

Constant Pursuit and the California Black Diamonds supplied the five-man refereeing staff. The report listed prizes including paintball markers, loaders, gift certificates, accessories and trophies.[2]
