Wright served as PSP's player and team liaison from 2000 to 2003, operations manager from 2003 to 2007, and partner and chief operating officer from 2008 to 2015.[1]

His responsibilities included practical tournament organisation. During autumn 2005, Wright and [[Keely Watson]] investigated venues for PSP's expanded 2006 schedule, including attending a conference where cities presented their facilities to event organisers. The resulting calendar included a tournament in Round Rock, Texas.[4]

Wright also worked with regional tournament organisers. The [[Mid-South Xball League]]'s account of its establishment identifies him as the PSP official who confirmed its affiliated-league status.[5]

As chief operating officer, he publicly discussed PSP's competition policies. In a December 2014 interview with [[Social Paintball]], Wright explained the board's decisions concerning outside coaching and professional marker firing modes for the proposed 2015 season. He distinguished his own views from the board's collective decisions.[6]
