== History == === Introduction in 2011 === The organiser described the Command & Conquer event held in Langkawi during Paintball World Cup Asia in November 2011 as MWL's unofficial launch. The event included a demonstration of the format and a tournament won by Raskal Avengers, with Unknown finishing second.[1] The organiser also recorded a Malaysia Woodsball Fest at Paintball Valley on 18 December 2011.[1] === 2012 competition === The first 2012 league round was held in Putrajaya on 25β26 February. Subsequent rounds took place at Pantai Penunjuk in Kijal, Terengganu, during March and at Paintball Valley in Selangor on 7β8 July.[1][3][5] The organiser's results named Unknown as Open winner and Unknown 2 as Tactical winner at both the Kijal and Paintball Valley rounds.[3][4] Roslim Abu was identified as the MWL organiser in a closing acknowledgement published after the July event.[6]
