Tubchang Paintball & BB
Tubchang Paintball & BB (Thai: สนามทับช้างเพ้นท์บอลแอนด์บีบี), also known as Tubchang Field or Tub Chang Paintball, is a historically documented paintball and BB gun venue in Saphan Sung District, Bangkok, Thailand.
The venue was associated with Tubchang Paintball and BB (Thailand) Company Limited, a Thai company registered on 18 April 2007. The company was recorded as defunct on 5 October 2020, although the date on which the physical playing field ceased operating, if applicable, has not been established.
Tubchang Field was also associated with Thailand's competitive paintball community. The Bangkok-based team SPEED Overshoot identified Tubchang Field as its home venue in tournament registration records.
The team competed internationally during the 2010s, achieving notable results in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
A team registered simply as Tubchang also competed in the Thailand X Ball League tournament in Pattaya in February 2025. The relationship between this later tournament team and the historical venue has not been independently established.

History
[edit]Establishment
[edit]Tubchang Paintball & BB operated in Saphan Sung District, eastern Bangkok.
The venue was associated with a company named Tubchang Paintball and BB (Thailand) Company Limited.
Thai corporate information records the company's registration on 18 April 2007 under registration number 0105550042362.[1]
The registered address was:
33/8 Moo 14, Motorway Frontage Road, Western Thap Chang Tollgate, Saphan Sung, Bangkok.
A separate Thai YellowPages listing identifies the playing venue at 33/8 Ramkhamhaeng 118 Road, Saphan Sung, Bangkok 10240.[2]
These addresses may describe the same general locality, but the exact relationship between the corporate registered address and the physical playing field has not been independently established.
The company's registration date provides evidence of the associated business's establishment but does not conclusively establish the opening date of the paintball field.
Recreational operations
[edit]Tubchang Paintball & BB was listed in Thai business directories under the paintball category.
The venue's Thai name identifies both paintball and BB gun activities.
Historical directory information advertised afternoon and evening operating hours.
The Thai YellowPages listing recorded:
| Day | Advertised hours |
|---|---|
| Monday–Friday | 13:00–02:00 |
| Saturday | 12:00–02:00 |
| Sunday | 12:00–02:00 |
These hours are historical directory information and should not be treated as current operating hours.[2]
The precise number of playing fields, rental equipment models and field layouts have not been independently documented.
Competitive paintball
[edit]Tubchang Field was associated with Bangkok's tournament paintball community during the 2010s.
PBLeagues identifies Tubchang Field, Bangkok, as the home field of SPEED Overshoot, a Thai competitive paintball team registered in January 2014.[3]
The team competed in domestic and international speedball tournaments.
This association demonstrates that Tubchang was connected to organised competitive paintball rather than being documented solely as a recreational rental venue.
However, the available evidence does not establish whether the venue maintained a permanent regulation-size inflatable-bunker field.
SPEED Overshoot
[edit]Team association
[edit]SPEED Overshoot was a Bangkok-based competitive paintball team associated with Tubchang Field.
Its PBLeagues registration identifies:
- Home town: Bangkok, Thailand
- Home field: Tubchang Field
- Registration date: 29 January 2014
The team competed in the Thailand Paintball Official Circuit, Paintball Asia League Series, Singapore Paintball Series and Paintball World Cup Asia.
2014 tournament results
[edit]SPEED Overshoot competed in TPOC Leg 1 in Bangkok in February 2014.
The team subsequently achieved notable results in international competition.
| Date | Tournament | Division | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| March 2014 | PALS Bangkok | Division 3 | 1st of 7 teams |
| November 2014 | Paintball World Cup Asia | Division 3 | 3rd of 35 teams |
These results are documented in the team's PBLeagues tournament history.[3]
2015 tournament results
[edit]SPEED Overshoot continued competing internationally during 2015.
| Date | Tournament | Division | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| March 2015 | PALS Bangkok | Division 3 | 1st of 11 teams |
| June 2015 | Singapore Paintball Series / PALS Singapore | Division 3 | 1st of 16 teams |
| October–November 2015 | Paintball World Cup, Langkawi | Division 3 | 4th of 39 teams |
The team's results demonstrate the strength of Bangkok's competitive paintball community during the mid-2010s.
They also establish a connection between Tubchang Field and players participating in major regional competitions.
The results belong to SPEED Overshoot and should not be interpreted as evidence that the tournaments themselves were held at Tubchang Field.
Later participation
[edit]PBLeagues also lists SPEED Overshoot in the 2018 and 2019 World Paintball Championship events in Thailand.
These entries document the team's continued tournament involvement, although final placements are not available in the cited team history.
Business registration
[edit]Tubchang Paintball and BB (Thailand) Company Limited
[edit]The Thai corporate information service Creden Data identifies a company named:
Tubchang Paintball and BB (Thailand) Company Limited
Thai registered name:
บริษัท ทับช้าง เพ้นท์บอล แอนด์ บีบี (ไทยแลนด์) จำกัด
The published company information includes:
| Field | Recorded information |
|---|---|
| Company registration number | 0105550042362 |
| Registration date | 18 April 2007 |
| Registered capital | 1,000,000 Thai baht |
| Registered address | 33/8 Moo 14, Saphan Sung, Bangkok |
| Last financial years listed | 2014 and 2015, among earlier filings |
| Recorded defunct date | 5 October 2020 |
The database classifies the company's registered business activity under leasing of intellectual-property products and similar activities.
This administrative classification does not describe the full range of activities offered at the physical paintball venue.
The company record is evidence of the existence and legal status of the named entity, but it does not independently establish the venue's ownership arrangements throughout its history.[1]
Recorded company status
[edit]The company information records a defunct date of 5 October 2020.
This should be distinguished from the operating status of Tubchang Field.
A legal entity may cease operating or be removed from the corporate register without establishing when a particular venue closed.
The available evidence does not confirm whether the physical paintball field closed in 2020, operated under another entity or continued in a different form.
Location
[edit]Tubchang Paintball & BB was located in Saphan Sung District in eastern Bangkok.
Historical directory records identify an address on Ramkhamhaeng 118 Road.
The associated company's registered address refers to the motorway frontage road near the Thap Chang tollgate.
The venue should not be confused with Expressway Paintball Club, another historically documented Bangkok tournament paintball venue in the Rama 9 area.
Both venues were associated with Thai competitive paintball teams during the 2010s.
Later use of the Tubchang name
[edit]TXBL Pattaya 2025
[edit]A team named Tubchang participated in TXBL Pattaya 2025, held from 21 to 23 February.
The official PBLeagues rankings record the team finishing thirteenth of fourteen teams in Division 2.[4]
| Event | Division | Result |
|---|---|---|
| TXBL Pattaya 2025 | Division 2 | 13th of 14 teams |
This result demonstrates the continued use of the Tubchang name within Thailand's competitive paintball community.
However, the available evidence does not establish whether the team was operated by the original Tubchang venue, represented a successor business or consisted of former players associated with the field.
The 2025 tournament was held in Pattaya and was not documented as taking place at Tubchang Field.
Historical significance
[edit]Tubchang Paintball & BB forms part of the documented history of commercial and competitive paintball in Bangkok.
Its significance includes:
- An associated Thai business registration dating to 2007
- Historical commercial listings for paintball and BB gun activities
- A documented location in Saphan Sung District
- Association with the internationally successful Thai team SPEED Overshoot
- Connections to the regional Paintball Asia League Series tournament circuit
- Continued use of the Tubchang name in competitive paintball records during 2025
The venue is particularly useful for understanding the infrastructure supporting Thai competitive teams during the 2010s.
Alongside Expressway Paintball Club, Tubchang Field provides evidence of multiple Bangkok locations associated with organised tournament paintball.
