Paintball career

[edit]

Paintball Asia League Series

[edit]

Chinveerabhand was involved in Thailand's competitive paintball community during the expansion of the Paintball Asia League Series.

He was identified by name in promotional material for the 2011 Paintball World Cup Asia, held in Langkawi, Malaysia.

The material was circulated by Allan Phang, international liaison director of PALS, and listed Chinveerabhand among personalities associated with the international paintball community.[1]

PALS was founded and headed by Malaysian paintball organiser Paul Lam, who was identified as founder and chief executive officer of PALS Events.

Chinveerabhand was involved in local tournament operations in Thailand, including events hosted at Expressway Paintball Club.

Expressway Paintball Club

[edit]

Chinveerabhand operated Expressway Paintball Club, a competitive paintball venue in the Rama 9 area of Bangkok.

The venue provided facilities for tournament paintball, including an inflatable-bunker speedball field and compressed-air filling equipment.

By January 2013, Expressway was an established training venue preparing to host an international PALS tournament.[2]

The facility subsequently hosted several competitive events.

The precise opening date of the venue and the dates of Chinveerabhand's management have not been established.

Demonic

[edit]

Chinveerabhand was associated with the Thai competitive paintball team Demonic, also appearing in tournament records under the name Singha Demonic.

His connection to Demonic is reflected in the organiser contact email published for the 2014 Thailand Paintball Official Circuit event:

tom.demonic@gmail.com

The event registration identified Expressway Paintball Club as the venue.[3]

Demonic was part of Thailand's competitive paintball community during the period when Thai teams participated in the Paintball Asia League Series and other international competitions.

The team's complete roster, founding date and Chinveerabhand's precise playing or management role require further documentation.

Tournament organisation

[edit]

PALS Thailand 2013

[edit]

Expressway Paintball Club hosted a round of the Paintball Asia League Series from 28 February to 3 March 2013.

The tournament attracted international competitors to Bangkok and formed part of the regional PALS calendar.

Contemporary paintball media documented the tournament and its preparations.[4]

Chinveerabhand was associated with the local organisation of PALS events in Thailand.

Thailand Paintball Official Circuit 2014

[edit]

Expressway Paintball Club hosted TPOC Leg 1 on 8–9 February 2014.

The tournament was documented by PBLeagues and included twelve paid team entries across two divisions.[3]

Division Paid team entries Format
Division 1 6 Five-player Race-to-2
Division 2 6 Five-player Race-to-2

The event registration listed the contact email tom.demonic@gmail.com, connecting Chinveerabhand with the tournament's administration and the Demonic name.

The tournament was part of efforts to provide organised domestic competition for Thailand's competitive paintball teams.

PALS Bangkok 2015

[edit]

Expressway Paintball Field hosted PALS 2015 Leg 1 from 27 to 29 March 2015.

The event included three divisions and 28 paid team entries.[5]

Division Paid team entries Format
Division 1 8 Race-to-4
Division 2 9 Race-to-3
Division 3 11 Race-to-2

The event was another example of Bangkok's involvement in the international Paintball Asia League Series.

Relationship with Paul Lam

[edit]

Paul Lam was the founder and chief executive officer of PALS Events, the organisation responsible for the Paintball Asia League Series.

Chinveerabhand was involved in coordinating Thai PALS events under the wider regional tournament structure headed by Lam.

This arrangement connected local tournament infrastructure in Bangkok with the international PALS competition calendar.

The precise contractual or administrative relationship between Chinveerabhand and PALS Events has not been independently documented.

Historical significance

[edit]

Chinveerabhand contributed to the development of organised competitive paintball in Bangkok during the early and mid-2010s.

His activities connected three important elements of Thailand's competitive paintball community:

  • Expressway Paintball Club, a training and tournament venue
  • Demonic, a Thai competitive paintball team
  • PALS Thailand and domestic tournament organisation

Expressway hosted international events in 2013 and 2015, as well as the Thailand Paintball Official Circuit in 2014.

These events provided opportunities for Thai teams to compete domestically and against international opponents.
