Project Paintball
Project Paintball, branded as PROJECT, is a paintball equipment and clothing company founded in early 2019 by Archie Montemayor and Ryan Brand. It specialises in limited-production equipment, including customised paintball markers, playing accessories and clothing.[1]
History
[edit]Montemayor and Brand established Project Paintball around their interest in distinctive paintball equipment. The company's releases emphasise small production runs, custom milling, anodised finishes and original graphic designs.[1]
Its first product was the Project G CS2, based on the Planet Eclipse CS2. Subsequent marker releases included a custom-milled DLX Luxe TM40 and limited-edition anodised Planet Eclipse LV2 models.[1]
Products
[edit]Project Paintball's range includes customised versions of markers produced by established manufacturers. Examples include the Project Emblem LV2 and a DLX Luxe Idol featuring custom anodising by Tekniq Anodizing.[2][3]
The company has also released barrel covers, pod packs, long-sleeved shirts, casual clothing, JT goggle straps and customised JT Pro Joggers. One accessory design combined cufflinks with plugs for JT Proflex goggles.[1]
Its official website groups products into apparel, markers and playing gear, with a separate collection documenting previous releases.[4]
Professional paintball
[edit]Project Paintball has links to professional tournament paintball through its founders and equipment sponsorship. A March 2023 equipment guide listed the company among San Diego Dynasty's sponsors and described its range as extending from barrel covers to private-label markers.[5]
