History
[edit]1995 Southern Tablelands Championship
[edit]Patterson's Curse entered the Southern Tablelands Seven-Man Championship at Brayton Paintball in 1995. The contemporary report described it as the team's first tournament appearance and identified its players as regular recreational participants at Spotcha Gotcha in Goulburn.[1]
The team initially used a Tippmann 68 Special and Tippmann pump markers. Rental Badger markers were subsequently supplied by Spotcha Gotcha.[1]
During the preliminary games, Patterson's Curse recorded maximum-scoring victories over The Ambassadors and HEAT Gold, and defeated MAXX on points.[1]
The team finished seventh in the nine-team preliminary standings with 200 points and did not qualify for the four-team finals.[1]
1996 Brayton charity tournament
[edit]Patterson's Curse competed in the amateur division of the Starlight Foundation charity five-player tournament at Brayton Paintball on 14 January 1996.[2]
The report again identified the team with Goulburn and noted that chronograph penalties affected its performance. Patterson's Curse did not qualify for the four-team amateur finals.[2]
