Paintball for All (PFA)
Paintball for All (PFA; Persian: پینت بال برای همه) is an Iranian paintball competition programme documented in national and Tehran provincial events. Its competitions have included men's and women's categories, mechanical and electronic markers, and team and individual formats.[1][2][3]
Contemporary records document PFA events during the Iranian calendar years 1397 and 1398 (2018–2020). National and provincial competitions published separate results, while reports distinguished PFA from the women's electronic competition identified as IWPL.[3][4]
Competition structure
[edit]PFA competitions have included three-player teams, individual events and, at the September 2018 women's round, a separate two-player competition.[1]
Mechanical and electronic categories were reported separately. At the men's national second round on 24 August 2018, the programme included mechanical three-player teams, individual mechanical competition and individual electronic competition.[1]
Shahab Paintball Park supported numerous events, including competitions at Takhti Stadium in Tehran.[2][3][5]
Tehran provincial programme
[edit]A separate Tehran provincial PFA programme was documented in 1398. Its published notices identified the Tehran provincial paintball committee and South-East Tehran committee, with Shahab Paintball Park providing support.[3]
The provincial programme's rules and results were distinct from those of national PFA competition. For example, reports for men's events held on 10 January 2020 published different national and provincial individual podiums.[6]
History
[edit]National competition in 1397
[edit]At the women's second round on 27 July 2018, Shahab One won the mechanical three-player competition ahead of Shahab Three and Shahab Two. Raheleh Hajian won the individual mechanical competition, followed by Mahdieh Darkhah and Mobina Pourmousa.[7]
The men's second round took place on 24 August 2018. Six mechanical three-player teams competed, alongside twelve individual mechanical players and five individual electronic players. Participants represented Tehran, Golestan, Yazd and Khorasan Razavi provinces.[1]
Iris won the men's mechanical team competition, followed by Hyrcania and Shahab One. Mohammad Hossein Hasanlou won the individual mechanical event, while Mehran Raeiszadeh won the individual electronic event.[1]
The women's third round took place on 28 September 2018. Shahab One won the mechanical three-player competition, while Shahab Three won the two-player event. Raheleh Hajian won the individual competition.[1]
Women's final round and season standings
[edit]The fifth and final women's round took place on 25 January 2019. It also served as the women's national championship in the mechanical class. Six three-player teams and 21 individual competitors represented Tehran, Golestan, Khorasan Razavi and Isfahan provinces.[2]
Shahab Golestan won the final-round team competition, followed by Shahid Nikpasand vocational school and Shahab One. Raheleh Hajian won the individual event, followed by Mozhdeh Taghipour and Zohreh Alimohammadi.[2]
The organiser separately published overall standings across five rounds:
| Position | Women's three-player mechanical | Women's individual mechanical |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | Shahab One | Raheleh Hajian |
| 2nd | Shahab Three | Mahdieh Darkhah |
| 3rd | Shahab Two | Mahsa Moradi |
The final-round team winner and overall season champion were therefore different teams.[2]
National competition in 1398
[edit]The opening national women's round of 1398 took place on 26 July 2019 at Takhti Stadium, Tehran. Shahab One won the mechanical three-player competition ahead of Shahab Three and Shahab Two. Raheleh Hajian won the individual mechanical event, followed by Mahdieh Darkhah and Fatemeh Fahim.[5]
At the men's national third round on 10 January 2020, Shahab One won the mechanical three-player competition, followed by Shahab youth and Saital. The electronic three-player podium was Datis Tehran, Datis Shemiranat and Persian Gulf.[6]
The women's national fourth round took place at Takhti Stadium on 6 February 2020. Shahab won the mechanical three-player competition, while Datis Tehran won the electronic three-player event.[8][9]

Relationship to other competitions
[edit]A Hamshahri report published on 16 December 2018 distinguished PFA from the national women's competition identified as IWPL. It reported mechanical PFA results alongside electronic three-player IWPL results.[4]
The PFA public channel also reproduced PALM announcements and results. Those posts explicitly identified the separate PALM competition; their appearance in the PFA channel does not make them PFA results.[7]
Media
[edit]The PFA Paintball League Telegram channel published entry conditions, schedules, regulations and results. The associated PFA Media channel published event photographs and podium captions.[1][2][10]
Provincial notices and results also appeared through the Tehran Paintball Committee's public channel.[3][6]
