Mudtrekker (Malaysia)
Mudtrekker, also marketed as MTZ, is a Malaysian paintball and outdoor activity operator associated with venues in Selangor. Its documented paintball locations include a historical park at Kuang, Sungai Buloh, and facilities at Cahaya SPK and Taman Botani Negara in Shah Alam.[1][2][5][6]
Mudtrekker hosted rounds of the Tactical Paintball Championship in 2011 and 2012.[2][3][4]
History
[edit]The operator's history dates the Mudtrekker brand to 1995, describing its origins in outdoor adventure sports.[1]
A 2012 tournament announcement described Mudtrekker Scenario Paintball Park as operating since 2004 and located at Kuang, Sungai Buloh. The description included an urban tactical field with houses and drum bunkers, together with jungle fields containing old cars, trenches and foxholes. A canteen, toilets and showers were also listed.[2]
Mud Legion described its origins as a group of woodsball players at Mudtrekker in its club introduction published on 17 March 2010.[7]
Venues

[edit]The Kuang park was the venue identified in the organiser's announcement for the third round of the 2012 Tactical Paintball Championship. The event took place on 23–24 June, with Black Goat Army winning Gold and Mud Legion 2.0 winning Silver.[2][4]
Cahaya SPK
[edit]The operator's website identifies MTZ Cahaya SPK as a Shah Alam venue operated by MWB Paintball Club.[5]
Its facilities include an inflatable-bunker speedball field and themed recreational fields, including Wild West Cowboy Town, Angker Hill, Fox Hole Valley, Camelot Castle and A Formosa Fort. Showers and toilets are provided.[5]
Botani
[edit]Mudtrekker Botani is located within Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam. The operator names Hamburger Hill, Predator, Amazon and Bukit Kepong among its playing fields.[6]
The venue advertises tactical scenario paintball, team-building activities, adventure races, abseiling, jungle orienteering, camping and glamping.[6]
