Joubin (Iran Paintball Team)

From WikiPaintball

Joubin, also recorded as Jubin, is an Iranian tournament paintball team documented in domestic competition and at Paintball World Cup Asia. It finished second in Division 3 at World Cup Asia in 2010.[1][2]

The historical Datis website included a Jubin team page and player list. Its team index described Jubin as "Since 2009".[2][3]

History

[edit]

Early records

[edit]

The Datis website's team index, archived in December 2010, listed Jubin alongside Datis, Datam and Atril. The index attributed a 2009 origin to Jubin.[2]

A separate Jubin page preserved player names and numbers. These are website profiles at the time of the archive capture rather than an independently verified tournament registration roster.[3]

World Cup Asia 2010

[edit]

Joubin finished second in Division 3 at World Cup Asia in 2010. Malaysia's Hammer Zero won the division, followed by Joubin, Demonz Lucifer X and Votolocos.[1]

The published result identifies Joubin as an Iranian entry.[1]

Iranian national competition

[edit]

The Iran Paintball Association recorded Joubin fourth in the men's first division at the national league event held in Babolsar from 14 to 16 December 2011. Datis, Hype and Persian Legend Two occupied the top three positions.[4]

A Datis website report dated 17 February 2012 also recorded a knockout-stage match against Jubin at the final INPL event of the Iranian year 1390. Datis won that match before facing Hype in the final.[5]
