Jo Pitts

From WikiPaintball

Jo Pitts is a New Zealand paintball player documented as a member of Saints during the late 1990s. His contemporary New Zealand Paintball profile records earlier membership of Kamo Karzi and a team identified as NSS.[1]

Playing career

[edit]

Pitts's profile, preserved in a February 1998 archive, states that he began playing paintball at the age of 17 and started playing competitively for NSS while at university. He subsequently joined Kamo Karzi before becoming a Saints member.[1]

The profile describes his Saints playing position as “Extreme Point”. It also records his participation in the team's November 1997 trip to Australia, recalling games against Thunderpigs and Black Reign's second team.[1]

Equipment and views

[edit]

Pitts identified an Evolution as his preferred marker. He reported using it in six tournaments, numerous social games and regular Saints training sessions.[1]

In the same profile, he advocated making paintball more accessible through pricing and marketing to social players, alongside a clearer route from recreational games into tournament competition.[1]
