Decay of Nations 11
Decay of Nations 11, also known as Decay of Nations XI, was the eleventh edition of the American scenario paintball event Decay of Nations, held on 30 September and 1 October 2017 at SC Village in Chino, California.[1][2]
The event continued the annual large-scale scenario paintball series established at SC Village in 2007.
Event
[edit]Decay of Nations 11 took place over the weekend of 30 September to 1 October 2017.
The dates were published by GI Sportz on 8 August 2017 in an article by scenario paintball representative Sneaky Pete, which included Decay of Nations 11 among the upcoming American scenario events.[1]
The event followed Decay of Nations 10, held in September 2016, and preceded Decay of Nations 12 in 2018.
Participation
[edit]The Southern California scenario team Psycho Clown Posse identified itself in a retrospective published in 2018 as having attended every Decay of Nations event at SC Village up to that point.[3]
The team's historical records indicate that its members did not maintain a fixed allegiance to either faction, instead participating where they were needed.
Event photography
[edit]Paintball photographer Gary Baum's PaintballPhotography.com published an image identified as having been taken at the 2017 Decay of Nations XI scenario event.[2]
Results
[edit]The overall winning faction, final score and complete command roster have not been established from the available historical records.
