Arc Anodizing
Arc Anodizing, also styled ARC Anodizing, is an American custom anodising business based in Fort Worth, Texas. Founded by professional paintball player Ryan Hall, it specialises in decorative finishes for aluminium components, including paintball marker bodies, barrels and accessories.[1][2][3]
Background
[edit]Hall established Arc Anodizing alongside his tournament paintball career. He discussed starting the company in a 2020 GoSports interview with Matty Marshall, while playing for ac Dallas, and in a subsequent Paintball Nerd interview in 2023.[1][4]
The business has undertaken both individual customer commissions and projects for paintball companies. Its work includes custom finishes for the Boston Paintball and Committed Paintball Twister range.[5]
Services
[edit]Arc Anodizing specialises in custom graphic Type II anodising. Its services include individual colour schemes, fades, splashes and graphic designs, with finishes produced to customer specifications.[3]
The business also offers laser marking, either on existing anodised components or in combination with a new finish. For supported marker models, it provides disassembly and reassembly services, allowing customers to submit complete markers for customisation.[2][6]
Paintball projects
[edit]In an interview published by HP-WT.com, Committed Paintball's Ttwo described selecting Arc Anodizing for the F-Series Twister Autococker project. Customers could specify their own colour schemes and submit additional components for matching. Hall worked directly with customers on these finishes, returning completed markers in batches for assembly.[5]
The same interview documents Arc's involvement in colour-matched Twister display stands and custom Powerhouse air-system regulators.[5]
Arc Direct
[edit]The associated Arc Direct retail operation offers new products that have already been customised, alongside Arc Anodizing's commissioned work on customer-owned equipment. Its website includes paintball markers, barrels and galleries organised by marker type, colour and finishing technique.[6]
