2022 Iran Paintball Tour season
The 2022 Iran Paintball Tour season covers the documented national tour competition beginning in June 2022, during the Iranian calendar year 1401. Contemporary reports identify an opening round in Rasht and a second round in Bandar Abbas in February 2023, also within 1401.[1][2]
Datis Tehran won both documented rounds, with Datis Shemiranat finishing second at each event. These are individual round results; the cited reports do not establish an aggregate season championship table.[1][3]
Background
[edit]Tabnak described the opening tournament as a return following a two-year interruption associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. It credited the Iran Sport for All Federation, the Iran Paintball Association and Gilan's Sport for All board with supporting the event.[1]
The Iran National Paintball League Instagram account advertised the Rasht event under the name Iran Paintball Tour.[4]

Round 1: Rasht
[edit]The organiser advertised the opening programme for 22–24 June 2022 (1–3 Tir 1401). Tabnak's subsequent report identified 23–24 June (2–3 Tir) as the two competition days.[1][4]
Eleven teams participated, representing Tehran, Bandar Abbas, Mashhad, Rasht and Isfahan. Reza Shahran, chairman of the association's refereeing committee, served as head referee.[1]
Datis Tehran won, followed by Datis Shemiranat and Singo Two Bandar Abbas. Belona Rasht received the fair-play cup.[1]
Round 2: Bandar Abbas
[edit]Young Journalists Club reported the second tour round in progress at Singo Bandar Abbas on 2 February 2023 (13 Bahman 1401), stating that competition would continue the following day. Hormozgan paintball committee official Babak Majnoun identified Gilan as the host of the preceding round.[2]
Ten teams represented Tehran, Hormozgan, Khorasan Razavi, Gilan and Isfahan. The event was held to mark the anniversary period known as the Ten Days of Fajr.[2][3]
IRIB's concluding report named Datis Tehran as the winner, Datis Shemiranat second and Persian Gulf One third. Singo Persian Gulf A finished fourth; Singo Persian Gulf B also participated.[3]

Season standings
[edit]The cited contemporary records establish two round podiums but do not provide cumulative points or a final overall championship table. Datis's victories at both documented events are therefore recorded as round wins.[1][3]
Contemporary coverage
[edit]The national league's Instagram account published the opening-round field-layout announcement. Tabnak reported the Rasht results, while Young Journalists Club and IRIB covered the subsequent Bandar Abbas round.[1][2][3][4]
