2022 CPPS Round 1

The 2022 CPPS Round 1 was the opening round of the 2022 Central Premier Paintball Series season. The official calendar records the round as running from 19 March to 17 April 2022. Lucky 15s Staffordshire won the Elite Division.[1][2][3][4]

Dates

The official calendar gives the overall date range of 19 March–17 April 2022 but does not provide individual dates for the seven divisions.[1]

Results

The following table records the leading four teams in six divisions, using the Round 1 positions in the season records and the event match records. Division 1 is listed separately because the two records disagree.[2][3]

Division	First	Second	Third	Fourth
Elite Division	Lucky 15s Staffordshire	Sandbaggers	London Attrition	London Tigers
Division 2	Sandbaggers Green	Iron Wolf	One41 2	Sandstorm
Division 3	Apocalypse	SaD Redemption	Icon	Underdogz
Division 4	Crusaders	Warped Red	South Coast Reapers	Hertfordshire Hydra
Division 5	EA Nemesis	SoBs	Walking Dead	Morning Wood Void
Breakout Division	Morning Wood Raptors	Army Of Fools	Saltire Scorpions	Titan Wolves Bloodline

Division 1

The season records assign the following Round 1 positions: Sad UK first, Sandbaggers Black second, Thunderducks Orange third and Bristol Badgers fourth. However, the event match record shows Sandbaggers Black defeating Sad UK 4–1 in the final and Bristol Badgers defeating Thunderducks 3–1 in the third-place match. These records therefore give conflicting orders for both pairs of teams.[2][3]

Selected finals

Lucky 15s Staffordshire defeated Sandbaggers 5–3 in the Elite final. London Attrition beat London Tigers 5–4 in the third-place match. Lucky 15s' contemporary report also documents the team's victory over Sandbaggers.[2][4]

Sandbaggers Green won the Division 2 final 3–0 against Iron Wolf. One41 2 defeated Sandstorm 3–1 for third place. Apocalypse beat SaD Redemption 3–0 in the Division 3 final, while Icon defeated Underdogz 3–2 for third.[2]

Crusaders defeated Warped Red 2–1 in the Division 4 final. South Coast Reapers beat Hertfordshire Hydra 2–0 in the third-place match.[2]
