2020 NXL Texas Open

The 2020 NXL Texas Open was a cancelled paintball tournament scheduled for 30 April–3 May 2020 as part of the National Xball League (NXL) United States season. The event was cancelled during the COVID-19 pandemic and produced no tournament results.[1][2]

Scheduled event

The Texas Open was included in the NXL's planned 2020 calendar following the 2020 NXL Las Vegas Open. The announced event dates were 30 April–3 May 2020.[1][2]

Cancellation

A contemporary report published by Zen and the Art of Paintball on 11 May 2020 recorded an NXL website announcement dated 18 March, headed “2020 NXL Texas Open, April 30 – May3 : CANCELLED”.[1]

The cancellation formed part of the disruption to the league's United States season during the COVID-19 pandemic. Paintball Win Count's historical record lists the Texas Open as a COVID-19 cancellation rather than a completed tournament.[2]

No professional or divisional champions were crowned at the event.
