2020 NXL Australia WA Round 1

2020 NXL Australia WA Round 1 was a NXL Australia paintball tournament at WASP Paintball in Carabooda, Western Australia. It was advertised for 8 March 2020. Contemporary venue photographs confirm that the season-opening round took place, although match scores and final placings have not been verified.[1][2][3]

Date and venue

PBLeagues listed Sunday, 8 March 2020 at WASP Paintball, 414 Karoborup Road, Carabooda. The league's official calendar advertised the same date and venue.[1][4]

WASP's photograph album, titled “2020 NXL Perth - Round 1”, stated that the season had begun at its Dizzy Lamb Park field. Photographs from the album were published on 10 March 2020, providing contemporary evidence that the event took place.[2][3]

The photographs support completion of the round but do not independently specify its playing date.

Format and registrations

The league's calendar advertised five-man competition with Division 1 and Division 2 entry. PBLeagues instead listed a single Open five-man X-ball division with nine-minute games.[1][4]

PBLeagues records four entries:[5]

• Perth Impure
• Plague Paintball
• STK Australia, registered as STK
• Tyrants

These are registration records rather than verified final standings or independent confirmation that every listed team played.

Results

The surviving PBLeagues score page states “No Games Completed” and contains no match scores. This database status does not negate the venue's contemporary photographic evidence that the round took place.[2][3][6]

No verified winner, final placings or match scores have been established. The alphabetical team list must not be interpreted as finishing order.[5]
