2020 MXL
The 2020 MXL was the 2020 season of the Mexican Xball League. Its published calendar and final standings record two events in Guadalajara, Mexico: the Guadalajara Open on 26–27 September and the Torneo Nacional de Paintball Guadalajara Open on 5–6 December.[1][2] Tj All Stars won Ultimate Champions, while TJ NRG D4, VICIOUS and Cobra Paintball led Premier, Super 5 Novice and Junior respectively in the final season standings.[2]
COVID-19 and the planned season opener
[edit]On 12 March 2020, MXL issued a statement addressing concerns about COVID-19 ahead of a planned Guadalajara season opener on 21–22 March. At that time, the league said the event would proceed and that preventive measures would be taken. It encouraged hand hygiene, avoiding hand contact and touching the face, and covering coughs with the arm.[7]
The completed-event calendar and season standings subsequently record the September and December events.[1][2]
