2018 NXL Asia
The 2018 NXL Asia competition programme included international paintball tournaments in Melaka and George Town, Malaysia. Both events are listed together in PBLeagues' 2018 season record.[1]
PB King won Open X-Ball at Melaka, while Raskal Sports won the division at George Town. Kamikaze Kings won Amateur X-Ball at both tournaments.[2][3]

The dates and venues are recorded in the original event listings.[4][5]

[edit]Both tournaments included Open X-Ball, Amateur X-Ball, Mechanical Open, Open ten-player, Open three-player and Mechanical Beginner three-player competitions.[4][5]

Event winners are recorded in the published PBLeagues placings.[2][3] The Melaka Mechanical Open record repeats positions one to four across two sets of teams without explaining their relationship, preventing identification of a single overall winner from that record.[2]
George Town Open final
[edit]A contemporary Planet Eclipse report stated that Raskal Sports qualified second from the preliminary stage, conceded one point in their semi-final and won the Open final 4–0. The report also stated that EJPC Jr won every match in their Mechanical campaign.[6]
Season standings
[edit]PBLeagues preserves a 2018 season standings page containing columns for the Melaka and George Town events across all six divisions. However, the page contains no populated team rankings or points totals.[1]
Media coverage
[edit]Canyon Paintball's NXL Asia archive includes G.I. Sportz highlights of the George Town tournament and an interview with organiser David Guch.[7]
