2016 PALM Iran Round 1

2016 PALM Iran Round 1 was the opening round of the 2016 Iranian PALM series. PALM Media's video description identifies the competition dates as 3–4 March 2016.[1] Shahab Paintball Park's account records the corresponding dates, 13–14 Esfand 1394, and identifies the venue as a temporary field at the Tehran Javan complex in Tehranpars, Tehran.[2]

Event

The organiser's season calendar lists the opening round in Tehran for 2–4 March 2016 and marks it as completed.[3] The event-specific coverage identifies 3–4 March as the competition dates.[1][2]

A contemporary Esfahan Paintball post, published on 6 March 2016, identifies Saital at the opening PALM 2016 round.[4]

Media coverage

PALM Media's surviving Aparat coverage includes a video labelled as the second instalment from the opening round. Its description explicitly identifies “PALM-IRAN LEG1” and 3–4 March 2016.[1]

The Aparat video's Persian title instead refers to Esfand 1395. This conflicts with its English description, the Esfand 1394 dates recorded by Shahab Paintball Park and the contemporary March 2016 Saital post.[1][2][4]
