2013 MPL Mexico City Open Final Round
The 2013 MPL Mexico City Open Final Round was the final event listed in the 2013 league calendar, held in Mexico City, Mexico, on 5–6 October 2013. The venue was the Benito Juárez delegation's sports facilities at Cuauhtémoc and Municipio Libre.[1] Tj All Stars won Division 4 and Shockwave won Division 5 in the published event placings.[2]
Competition
[edit]The published tournament draw contained 14 teams: seven in five-player Division 4 and seven in three-player Division 5. Both competitions used race-to-two formats, with four teams scheduled to advance from each preliminary bracket.[1][3]
| Division | Teams in published draw |
|---|---|
| Division 4, five-player | 7 |
| Division 5, three-player | 7 |
A Division 3 race-to-four competition was also advertised. It had three registered entries, named RED FOX, REDFOX and TJ All STARZ, but no Division 3 bracket appears in the published draw. The entries are listed alphabetically without points, so they are not treated here as a verified finishing order.[1][2][3]
