2012 Malaysian Open
The 2012 Malaysian Open, also promoted as the Malaysia Open, was an international paintball tournament in Putrajaya, Malaysia, advertised for 25–27 May 2012. It combined the second round of the 2012 Paintball Asia League Series (PALS) with the third round of the Malaysian Paintball Official Circuit (MPOC).[1]
Infernal won Division 1, Grammaton Clerics won Division 2, Golden Dragons won Division 3 and Xcavatos won Division 4.[2]
Organisation
[edit]The combined event was organised through a collaboration between PALS Event and Nemesis Legion Paintball Club. Its advance announcement advertised US$30,000 in prize money.[1]
A post-event report recorded 87 teams across four divisions and three inflatable-bunker playing fields.[2]
Competition
[edit]The post-event report described Division 4 concluding on the second day, while the other divisions continued through the final day. A separate AirAsia competition took place on Sunday.[2]
