2009 Labuan Open
The 2009 Labuan Open was a paintball tournament held in Labuan, Malaysia, in February 2009. A contemporary calendar advertised its programme for 13–15 February, and a participant's tournament record gives the same dates.[1][2]
The event appeared in contemporary publicity as a pre-MPOC competition, while a published MPOC calendar listed it separately as a bonus international event.[1][3]
Participation
[edit]A participant competing with 4 Horsemen recorded involvement in Division 3 and a first-round exit.[2]
A preliminary scoreboard photographed at the tournament listed teams including Nightmares, Raskal, Replacement Killers, X Fox, X Menz, 3nity, Azurie & D'4 Horsemen, D'Mercy Kidz, Hoodlums and Jesselton Nexus.[4]
Preliminary results
[edit]A photograph published on 23 February was described by its author as showing results from the tournament's first stage. The following preliminary positions are visible on the scoreboard.[4]
| Recorded preliminary position | Team |
|---|---|
| 1 | D'Mercy Kidz |
| 2 | Eastsiderzz |
| 3 | 3nity |
| 4 | Hoodlums |
| 5 | Bellicose |
| 6 | Jesselton Nexus |
| 7 | Deadstar Syndrome |
| 8 | D.O.A |
The photographed board does not label the division. These positions are preliminary standings, not final tournament placings.[4]
