2007 NPPL Commander's Cup
The 2007 NPPL Commander's Cup was the final tournament of the 2007 National Professional Paintball League Super 7 season. Held from 30 November to 2 December 2007 at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California, it concluded with San Diego Dynasty winning the professional event and season championship.[1][2]
Kansas City tiebreaker
[edit]Before the tournament, the unresolved professional final from the 2007 NPPL Kansas City Open was completed. Ironmen won the postponed one-on-one tiebreaker against Edmonton Impact, replacing the initially announced shared first place with Ironmen first and Impact second.[1]
Professional competition
[edit]Dynasty entered the event six season points behind Impact. To retain the championship, Dynasty needed to win while Impact finished fourth or lower.[1]
Dynasty reached the final against St. Louis Avalanche. Following an opening draw, Dynasty won the next two games. New England Hurricanes defeated Impact for third place, leaving Impact fourth and securing Dynasty's season title.[1]
