1999 Actions Queen’s Birthday Tournament

From WikiPaintball

The 1999 Actions Queen's Birthday Tournament was a five-player paintball tournament held at Actions Paintball on 6 June 1999. Twelve teams competed, with Saints Gold winning the main competition and Vipers winning the secondary competition.[1]

Organisation and format

[edit]

Kyn Jackson organised the tournament, with Black Dragon providing most of the referees. Games used a centre-flag format on the venue's Barricade and Bunker fields.[1]

Teams were divided into two groups of six for round-robin play. The leading three teams from each group advanced to the main finals, while the remaining teams entered a secondary competition. Each team then played three matches against qualifiers from the other group, with preliminary points carried forward.[1]

The main finals took place on the Barricade field, while the secondary competition used the Bunker field.[1]
