2023 NXL Australia WA Round 3 was the final Western Australian event of the 2023 NXL Australia paintball season. It was listed for 22 October 2023 at WASP Paintball. STK Australia defeated STK Entourage in the final. The event-specific listing called it Round 3, although the league's calendar labelled the same date and venue Round 4.[1][2][3]

Scheduling and round numbering

The league calendar instead advertised Round 3 for 23 July and Round 4 for 22 October. Its October entry listed Division 1 and Division 2, with team entry fees of $650 and $550 respectively.[2]
The October listings share a date and venue and are treated here as alternative numbering for the same event. They do not establish two separate October tournaments.
The reason for the changed numbering remains unverified. In particular, the available records do not establish whether the originally advertised July round was cancelled, postponed or renumbered.
Competition
[edit]STK Entourage's contemporary report describes the final round of the 2023 Western Australian NXL season as a six-team event. Entourage reported mostly wins or draws during its progress to the final, where it faced STK Australia.[3]
A separate participant post dated 24 October described the WA NXL season as finished and also reported second place behind STK Australia, thanking WASP Paintball and organiser Tim Colgan.[4]

STK Entourage explicitly reported losing the final to STK Australia and taking second place. Its report also identifies Menace as an opponent, but does not provide Menace's final placing.[3]
The report does not explicitly identify the division. These placings should therefore not be assigned to Division 1 or Division 2 without additional evidence. Further placings and match scores have not been verified.
