2011 INPL Round 1 was the opening round of the Iran National Paintball League for the Iranian calendar year 1390. It took place in the Naqleh Bar area of Gilan Province, with field walking on 7 September and matches on 8–9 September 2011. Datam defeated Datis Tehran in the premier-division final.[1]

The Iran Paintball Association described the event as the opening round of the league's third year.[1]

Event

[edit]

The association advertised a programme of 7–9 September 2011 (16–18 Shahrivar 1390) at the Shahid Abdi educational and recreational complex, described as approximately 15 kilometres from Rasht.[2]

Its subsequent report identified the location as Naqleh Bar and recorded eight premier-division teams and twelve lower-division teams. These completed-event figures differed from the sixteen teams anticipated in the advance announcement.[1][2]

Teams inspected the field on Wednesday 7 September. Matches began on Thursday morning after a delay caused by field problems and concluded on Friday 9 September.[1]

Premier-division final

[edit]
Position Team Province
1st Datam Tehran
2nd Datis Tehran Tehran

The association reported Datam winning the final against Datis after the closing ceremony presentations on Friday 9 September. It did not publish the match score in the recovered report.[1]

Lower division

[edit]

Twelve teams participated in the lower division. The association called this division “Division One” in its report, alongside a separate premier division. The recovered text does not establish its final placings.[1]

Field layout

[edit]

The advance announcement stated that the inflatable-bunker layout would match the forthcoming competition in Malaysia, providing preparation for Datis's international participation.[2]
