The 2014 INPL season was the Iran National Paintball League premier competition for the Iranian calendar year 1393. Eight teams competed over seven rounds across seven months. Datis Tehran won the championship, followed by Ariaman Tehran and Griffin Qazvin.[1][2]

Competition structure

[edit]

The Iran Paintball Association announced that eight approved teams would enter the premier competition. Its initial programme stated that the association would not operate Division 2 at that stage and would consider further arrangements during the second half of 1393.[3]

The association's season-conclusion report identified participating teams from Tehran, Alborz, Qazvin, Kerman, Isfahan and Khorasan Razavi provinces.[1]

Date discrepancies

[edit]

IRNA announced Round 2 for 6 Tir 1393 (27 June 2014). The association's photo-gallery title instead contains “93/3/06”; the discrepancy has not been resolved.[6][8]

For the final round, the archived association report gives “Friday, 2 Azar”. This falls after Hamshahri's report of the completed event on 1 November 2014 and does not match the stated weekday in 1393. The precise final-round date therefore remains unresolved.[1][2]

These are overall season placings. The cited reports do not provide cumulative points or a separate final-round podium.[1][2]

International competition programme

[edit]

The association explained that the seven-month domestic league was intended to maintain teams' readiness for the Asia-Pacific league. The concluding domestic round was scheduled approximately two weeks before the final Asia-Pacific event.[1][2]

National-team selection

[edit]

The association assessed players across the eight league teams and invited twenty to a national-team camp. Ten were subsequently selected for Iran's national squad.[1][2]

The season-conclusion report announced the squad's forthcoming participation in the 2014 Nations Cup in Langkawi, Malaysia.[1]
