2014 INPL Round 7 was the seventh and final round of the Iran National Paintball League premier competition for the Iranian calendar year 1393. It took place at Resistance Paintball Club in Tehran and had been completed by 1 November 2014, when Hamshahri published its report.[1][2]

The season concluded with Datis Tehran as champion, Ariaman Tehran as runner-up and Griffin Qazvin third. The surviving reports identify these as the final season placings rather than a separate seventh-round podium.[1][2]

Event

[edit]

The Iran Paintball Association described the event as the seventh and final round of a competition held over seven months with eight premier teams. Hamshahri likewise identified the seventh round as taking place at Resistance Paintball Club in Tehran to mark Physical Education Week.[1][2]

Playing date

[edit]

The precise playing date is unresolved. The archived association report gives “Friday, 2 Azar”, but that date falls after Hamshahri's report of the completed event on 1 November 2014 and does not match the stated weekday in 1393. Hamshahri does not supply an exact playing date.[1][2]

Neither cited report provides a separate seventh-round results table, match scores or cumulative season points.[1][2]

Competition programme

[edit]

The association explained that the seven-month league programme was intended to maintain teams' readiness for the Asia-Pacific league. The final domestic round was scheduled approximately two weeks before the concluding Asia-Pacific event.[1][2]

National-team selection

[edit]

During the domestic season, the association assessed players across the eight participating teams. Twenty players were invited to a national-team camp, from which ten were selected for Iran's national squad.[1][2]

The association's report announced the squad's forthcoming participation in the 2014 Nations Cup in Langkawi, Malaysia.[1]
