2023 INPL Round 1
2023 INPL Round 1 was the opening round of the Iran National Paintball League for the Iranian calendar year 1402. It took place at Singo Paintball Club in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Province, in May 2023, with ten men's teams and five women's teams participating.[1][2]
Datis Tehran won the men's competition, followed by Persian Gulf Tehran and Singo Bandar Abbas. Singo Elite won the women's competition, ahead of Belona Rasht and Singo Bandar Abbas.[2][3]
Event
[edit]The organiser initially advertised the women's programme for 2–3 May (12–13 Ordibehesht) and the men's programme for 3–5 May (13–15 Ordibehesht). Its subsequent instructions scheduled women's matches for the morning of Wednesday 3 May, followed by men's group matches on Thursday 4 May and knockout matches on Friday 5 May.[1][4]
The women's results were published on 3 May. Contemporary reporting described the men's competition as a two-day event.[2][3]
The women competed in three-player electronic paintball, while the men's competition used a five-player electronic format.[5][6]
