2023 INPL Round 4 was the fourth and final round of the Iran National Paintball League for the Iranian calendar year 1402. It took place at Singo Paintball Club in Bandar Abbas, Hormozgan Province, in December 2023. The organiser advertised the combined programme for 26–29 December (5–8 Dey 1402).[1]

Datis Tehran won the men's competition, followed by Tehran 02 and Persian Gulf One. Singo Elite won the women's competition.[2][3]

Event

[edit]

The league's announcement scheduled three-player electronic women's competition for 26–27 December and five-player electronic men's competition for 27–29 December. It named the Iran Sport for All Federation, Hormozgan's Sport for All board, the Iran Paintball Association and Singo Paintball Club as supporting organisations.[1]

Contemporary reporting confirms that the women's competition concluded on 27 December (6 Dey), while the men's competition took place on 28–29 December (7–8 Dey), with fourteen men's teams participating.[3][4]

Season conclusion

[edit]

The event concluded the 1402 league season. Singo's published results image distinguished the men's round podium from the aggregate championship podium: Datis Tehran finished first overall, Persian Gulf One second and Spad Mashhad third.[2]

Contemporary reporting gave their final totals as 393, 339 and 267 points respectively. These were season totals rather than fourth-round match scores.[2][4]

Young Journalists Club reported Singo Elite as the women's league champion with 377 points, followed by Belona Rasht with 315 and Singo Persian Gulf with 215.[3]

National-team selection

[edit]

The men's results report announced that leading competitors would be invited to a national-team camp in Bandar Abbas beginning on 30 December (9 Dey). The subsequent Gilan report confirmed that the camp took place from 9 to 11 Dey 1402, corresponding to 30 December 2023–1 January 2024.[4][5]

Contemporary coverage

[edit]

Singo published a results graphic containing the men's fourth-round top four and overall season top three. Contemporary coverage also appeared through Young Journalists Club and Khabar Varzeshi Hormozgan.[2][3][4]
