2007 NPPL Boston Open
The 2007 NPPL Boston Open was a seven-player National Professional Paintball League tournament held from 13 to 15 July 2007 in Massachusetts. The third event of the 2007 Super 7 season drew 152 teams across five divisions. San Diego Dynasty won the professional competition.[1][3]
Scheduling and venue
[edit]The tournament was announced for Brockton Fairgrounds in Brockton, Massachusetts. Originally scheduled for 20–22 July, it was brought forward by one week following clashes with the Millennium Series and a Spyder Cup qualifying event. An NPPL announcement reproduced on 19 April confirmed the revised dates and venue.[3]
Competition
[edit]Teams played eight preliminary games. The professional division comprised two groups of nine teams, with four teams from each advancing to a round-robin quarter-final stage. The leading four then contested best-of-three semi-finals and finals.[1]
Professional final
[edit]Dynasty defeated Pittsburgh All Americans in the semi-finals, while Los Angeles Infamous beat Stockholm Joy Division. The final opened with a draw, followed by two Dynasty victories. Joy Division defeated All Americans in two consecutive games for third place.[1]

Rock-It Kids, SCP Epic and FYT each won their final in two consecutive games.[1]
