KL Demonz, also recorded as Kuala Lumpur Demonz, were a Malaysian paintball team that competed in Paris in 2009. They finished second in Millennium Series Division 3 and fourth in the associated Intercontinental Cup.[1][2]

2009 Paris campaign

[edit]

KL Demonz entered both the Millennium Series Division 3 competition and the Intercontinental Cup during the same tournament weekend.[1][2]

In a contemporary interview, captain Ben “Todo” Yaw said the team qualified narrowly for the Division 3 quarter-finals before advancing to the final against the Rats.[1] A separate report identified their final placing as second.[2]

Intercontinental Cup

[edit]

The Intercontinental Cup records listed the team as Kuala Lumpur Demonz.[3]

Their quarter-final against Budapest Bullets was recorded as a 4–0 victory.[4] Yaw subsequently clarified that this was a walkover: Budapest withdrew after injuries to two players and chose to concentrate on its CPL competition.[1]

KL Demonz finished fourth overall in the Intercontinental Cup.[1][2]
