North and Central American Paintball Federation
The North Central American Paintball Federation (NCAPBF), also known as the North and Central American Paintball Federation, is a regional paintball confederation affiliated with the United Paintball Federation (UPBF). It represents the North and Central American region within the UPBF's international federation structure.[1][2]
Organisation
[edit]The NCAPBF is listed by the United Paintball Federation as one of its continental confederations.
As of October 2026, the UPBF's official website identified four affiliated federations within the North and Central American region.[1]
The UPBF operates a system of national representation in which one organisation per country is recognised as its representative for international competition and federation governance.[3]
The NCAPBF is also identified in the Union of International Associations' Yearbook of International Organizations as a confederation represented within the UPBF.[2]
History
[edit]The precise founding date and original leadership of the NCAPBF have not been established from available public records.
An earlier international federation initiative announced in January 2006 identified an organisation called the American Paintball Federation (APBF) as the proposed continental body covering North America, Central America and the Caribbean.[4]
That announcement described a regional structure incorporating paintball competitions such as Paintball Sports Promotions (PSP) and the Carolina Field Owners Association (CFOA).
However, the available records do not establish whether the earlier APBF was subsequently reorganised, renamed or replaced by the NCAPBF.
The NCAPBF is identified under its present name in the UPBF's published international federation structure.[1][2]
