2007 Werdna Hol Cup
The 2007 Werdna Hol Cup was a Malaysian three-player tournament paintball series. Contemporary photographic reports confirm that its third round took place over two days in September, while the original poster identifies the dates as 8–9 September 2007 and the venue as Paintball TAG Complex in Taman Danau Desa, Kuala Lumpur.[1][2]
Third round
[edit]The third-round poster advertised Rookie and Open categories. Rookie teams were restricted to mechanical house markers, while Open teams could use their own markers and field a maximum of one Division 1 player per team.[1]
Registration was advertised at RM250 per team for either category, with player identification tags costing RM15 per person.[1]
| Category | Advertised first prize | Advertised second prize | Advertised third prize |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rookie | RM1,500 | RM1,200 | RM800 |
| Open | RM2,000 | RM1,500 | RM1,000 |
These were advertised round prizes.[1]
Photographic coverage
[edit]A report published by Villain Paintball on 10 September confirmed that its photographer covered both days. A gallery published on 12 September, with additions the following day, identified Kampung Ledang, Neighbours, Zombie Kg Pisang and Infinity among the photographed teams.[2][3]
Fourth-round postponement
[edit]The fourth round was scheduled for 27–28 October. On 22 October, the organisers announced its postponement because numerous participants were unable to attend. They proposed combining it with the fifth round on 24–25 November, when the overall championship would be awarded.[4]
