The 2018 Asia Girls Paintball International Championship (AGPIC) was the second edition of an all-female paintball competition organised in Singapore by the team behind the Singapore Paintball Series.[1][2]

Scheduling

[edit]

The organisers announced that the competition would take place on 4 August 2018, replacing the previously advertised date of 5 August. The announcement attributed the change to requests from participants and scheduling arrangements for SPS500 Event 2.[1]

The organisers invited local and overseas female players and announced plans to webcast all games live.[1]

Background

[edit]

AGPIC followed the inaugural competition in 2017. The tournament director's message in the 2019 executive summary described AGPIC as an initiative to encourage women's participation in paintball and bring female players from across the region together.[2]
