Paintball career
[edit]Early tournament career
[edit]Foote was active in tournament paintball during the early and mid-2000s, a period marked by the expansion of professional paintball leagues and the development of dedicated tournament facilities.
Southern California was an important centre of competitive paintball during this period.
Fields such as SC Village attracted professional and amateur players, creating opportunities for informal competition and player development.
Foote became associated with the wider community surrounding the emerging Southern California tournament scene.
Tournament participation
[edit]Foote's name appears in historical records maintained by PBLeagues, including a record associated with the 2005 Paintball Sports Promotions Chicago Open.[4]
The available database information includes a team result dated 26 June 2005.
However, the specific team affiliation and divisional result require confirmation against the original tournament roster before being attributed to Foote as an individual achievement.
A complete tournament history has not yet been reconstructed.
Professional recognition
[edit]In September 2021, Iconic Paintball published a retrospective assessment titled The 50 Greatest Paintball Players of All-Time.[3]
The article evaluated professional players from different eras of competitive paintball.
Foote was included among additional elite-level players recognised outside the numbered top 50.
This was an editorial assessment rather than an official league ranking or Hall of Fame induction.
His inclusion nevertheless demonstrates his continued recognition within historical discussions of professional paintball.
Southern California paintball culture
[edit]Tournament community
[edit]Foote's period of competition coincided with the development of a distinctive Southern California tournament paintball culture.
The region was associated with established professional teams, emerging amateur players and a growing online community.
Informal practice sessions and tournament competition brought together players from different organisations.
Hostile Kids
[edit]Foote has been associated in retrospective community discussions with the culture surrounding Hostile Kids.
Hostile Kids was originally a Southern California tournament paintball team and player community that developed during the early 2000s.
Its members became known for their distinctive appearance and influence on the emerging agg subculture.
Although Foote has been mentioned in discussions of the original HK scene, his membership in a specific Hostile Kids tournament roster has not been independently verified.
Agg culture
[edit]Agg is paintball slang associated with appearance, equipment, attitude and playing style.
The term became particularly prominent during the early and mid-2000s.
It was associated with the Southern California tournament community and later with the commercial development of HK Army.
Foote has been remembered in retrospective discussions of players associated with this period.
Streetball
[edit]Streetball refers to informal competitive paintball, particularly pickup-style games on tournament fields.
Players may assemble temporary teams and participate without belonging to an established tournament roster.
Foote's name appeared in a streetball-related definition submitted to Urban Dictionary in May 2005.[6]
The entry used Foote as the subject of a humorous example contrasting informal tournament play with recreational woodsball.
Because the entry was user-generated slang, it should not be interpreted as a verified statement made by Foote.
Its historical significance is that Foote's name was recognisable within at least part of the online paintball community by 2005.
Trose Krew
[edit]Association
[edit]Foote has publicly identified himself with TroseKr3w on his professional social media profile.[2]
TroseKr3w is a stylised spelling associated with Trose Krew.
This provides a direct, publicly documented association between Foote and the name.
Historical background
[edit]Trose Krew has been discussed within the wider paintball community.
The group has also been associated in retrospective discussions with Kenny Rosenberg, known online as Troselord.
However, its precise origins, founding date and membership remain incompletely documented.
Relationship with Hostile Kids
[edit]Trose Krew and Hostile Kids appear within overlapping discussions of paintball culture.
The available evidence does not establish that they were the same organisation.
Their individual histories should therefore be documented separately.
Membership
[edit]Foote's public use of the TroseKr3w name supports identifying him as an associated individual.
It does not independently establish his founding role or the complete membership of the group.
Online paintball culture
[edit]PBNation era
[edit]Foote's tournament career coincided with the growing influence of PBNation.
The website became a major forum for paintball players during the 2000s.
Members discussed tournament results, professional players, equipment and fashion.
Photographs and discussions helped establish the reputations of players beyond their local tournament communities.
Cultural recognition
[edit]Foote's name continued to appear in retrospective discussions of early-2000s paintball culture.
These discussions frequently revisited the Southern California tournament scene, Hostile Kids and the development of agg.
Such sources are useful for documenting community memory but should be distinguished from contemporary tournament records.
Later life and public appearances

[edit]Foote has been associated with two public Instagram accounts:

The accounts contain material relating to his more recent public life.
Their content has not been fully independently archived or verified for the purposes of this article.
June 2025 public appearance
[edit]In June 2025, members of the r/paintball community discussed an appearance by Foote in a video published by YouTuber Danny Mullen.[5]
The Reddit submission was titled Jules Foote just spotted in Danny Mullen vlog @ 40:30 mark.
The original submission was subsequently deleted, although comments remained accessible.
The discussion demonstrates that Foote continued to be recognised by members of the paintball community many years after his earlier tournament career.
Recent personal circumstances
[edit]Foote's public social media activity has prompted discussion about his circumstances.
However, detailed information about his current health, living arrangements and personal situation has not been independently established through sufficiently reliable sources.
This article does not speculate about medical diagnoses, causes of disability, housing status or other private circumstances.
