2010 Sarawak Chief Minister's Cup
The 2010 Sarawak Chief Minister's Cup was a tournament paintball competition held at Jubilee Ground in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, on 30–31 October 2010. It was the inaugural edition of the Sarawak Chief Minister's Cup.[1][2]
Nemesis Legion won the Open Division, SSC Happy 5 won Amateur and Junior Waxers won Rookie.[3]
Organisation
[edit]Contemporary reporting identified Borneo Paintball Sports Club as the organiser, working in collaboration with Sarawak's Ministry of Social Development and Urbanisation.[1]
Before the tournament, club liaison officer Paul Ajah reported that thirty-five teams had registered, including entrants from Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Sabah. This was a pre-event registration figure.[1]
Competition format
[edit]The published programme specified three five-player categories: Open, Amateur and Rookie. Open was announced as RaceTo-2.[4]
Amateur rosters could include no more than one registered Division 1 player from the Malaysian National Paintball League or Malaysian Paintball Official Circuit. Rookie rosters could include no more than one registered Division 2 player from those circuits.[4]
Rookie competitors were required to use the organiser's marker sets, without changing the barrel, loader or air tank.[4]
