The 2008 Actions 3-on-3 Tournament was a three-player paintball tournament scheduled for 13 July 2008 at Actions Paintball in Auckland, New Zealand. It was intended to give smaller groups attending the field an opportunity to play organised competition on an inflatable field.[1]

Format

[edit]

The advertised format used three-player teams, centre-flag games and unlimited paint. Teams were to play best-of-three matches in a round robin. A subsequent Swiss-system phase was suggested but had not been confirmed in the announcement.[1]

Team Insane was to prepare the inflatable field. A 4 July update proposed an adapted version of the 2008 Spyder Cup's Spyder field layout, with substitutions for unavailable bunkers. Further field changes were announced on 10 July.[1]
